ST. ANNE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH.
This Gothic style church at 23 Church Street is on the National Register of Historic Places. The design was contributed by the esteemed New York architect James Renwick, and John Panter was the Master Builder. St. Anne's was completed in 1853, and its Parish Hall was added a few years later. Built of wood in the board and batten style, this building splendidly portrays the assymetry of irregularity typical of the Gothic period. Between 1979 and 1982 Beldon Morses Steeple People were employed to restore the belfry and clock tower. FAB, AFN, JCB
