MILLTOWN METHODIST CHURCH
The Milltown Methodist Church on South Street was built in 1836, at a time when there was a great revival of religious interest. The two story wooden frame clapboarded building is built in the Gothic Revival style, with the pointed arch repeatedly used in construction. In 1968 the Milltown Methodist Church members combined with the Bog Brook Methodist Churc~ and the Calais United Methodist Church, and sold their building to the Seventh Day Adventist denomination. The church continues to be used by the Seventh Day Adventists. AFN
