THEOPIDLUS W. ALLAN HOUSE
Theophilus Allan built his home, a classic central chimney cape, near the site of the residence and lodging house of his father, Mark Allan. In later years, about 1840, the two-story Greek Revival section was built for his two maiden sisters. The addition has larger windows and an entrance in the gable end. T.W. Allan was engaged in lumbering and shipping. RWH
