From Sunrise County Architecture (2nd revised and enlarged edition) 1996, p.47:
EDWARD LAWRENCE HOUSE
This Queen Anne Victorian home on the North Lubec Road was built by Edward Lawrence. The Lawrence family owned several mills in Jonesborough and started a sardine factory in Lubec. Edward Lawrence was quite an able carpenter and may have supervised the building of the house, which was completed in 1885. This two and one-half story house has a hip roof with a cross-gable wing and a turret in front. AFN
