ELIAS LAWRENCE HOUSE
This home is almost identical in design to the Edward Lawrence House next door. Elias was the brother of Edward Lawrence and also worked in the family mill business. The tower on this house is three stories high, and the front porch is slightly modified with different decorative woodwork. There is no pedimented gable over the entrance. The building of this house may also have been supervised by Edward Lawrence. It was completed in 1900, and is still owned by descendants of the Lawrence family. AFN
