Gardiner Grant House, 1947 - NC New street The only bungalow located within the district, this one-and-a-half-story dwelling features a full width hipped roof porch on the facade below a large center dormer. It is sheathed entirely in wood shingles. The south side elevation has a narrow rectangular bay window and a deeply recessed one-story ell that extends to the two-stall garage. Although stylistically this house would appear to date from the 1910s or 1920s, it was not actually constructed until 1947 by its present owner Gardiner Grant.
