131Description
This two and half story house dates to about 1841. It has a gable roof with chimneys at each end. Two one story bay windows were later added to the east side of the house as was a rear addition. The front entrance faces the intersection of Third and Water Streets and and has a later covered porch running nearly the full length of the north side of the house. A recent owner of the house reported that he found a broken headstone for the original owner of the house, C.B. Paine, in the basement of the house.
