HISTORY OF PAINTING OF EAST MACHIAS.
Painted originally by a French artist, M. A. Andrieu, 1855-56. Completely repainted on the same canvas and outlines in 1934, by Holman Waldron Chaloner, Melrose, Mass., a native of East Machias, age 84, free of charge, as a token of affection for his native town.
