This one and a half wood frame house likely dates to about 1840. It does not appear to be on the 1835 Map of Eastport, but does appear on the 1855 Map of Eastport. It has a three bay front with a entrance doorway on the west side of the front. An open covered porch has been added to the front of the house and a dormer window added to the east side of the house. An addition has been added to the rear of the house. Recent Zillow description (https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/8-Key-St-Eastport-ME-04631/85023955_zpid/) has house as being built in 1900.
