008Description
This one and a half story Greek Revival style wood frame likely dates to about 1860. It appears on the 1879 bird’s eye view map of Eastport, but not on the 1855 map of Eastport. It has a three bay front with center portico doorway that was a later addition. It has a gable roof with two later dormer windows. There is a later rear addition to the house and a separate clipped gable roof barn at the rear of the property. The house was built for N.B. Nutt, long time owner and publisher of the Eastport Sentinel newspaper.
