147Description
This one and half story wood frame Greek Revival style house likely dates to about 1840. It appears on the 1855 map of Eastport, but not on the 1835 map of Eastport. It has a gable roof and a four bay front. A later chimney was built on the exterior of the south side of the house. There is a later enclosed porch entrance on the north side of the house. There is a later rear addition to the house. A later pressed concrete block foundation was installed probably in the early 20th century. The house was known as the Thompson Homestead from 1850 to 1929.
