This three car bay one story wood frame, flat roof garage was built in 1956 for Ted Cummings. The garage was active in repairing and maintaining cars and trucks and other vehicles and long had gas pumps in front of the garage to provide gasoline. Cummings operated the industrial style garage for many years until he retired. The garage was then taken over by his long time employee, James Spinney. Spinney had begun working at the garage the same year the garage was first built. He continued operating the garage until 2011 when he retired. The garage is now a private garage.
Jim Spinney on August 1, 2013 said that the garage was built in 1956. He worked there from 1956 to 2011.
