Description
This one story wood frame house dates to about 1940. House does not appear on the 1933 Sanborn Map of Eastport.
June 11, 2026: Hugh French spoke to Gloria Smith, current owner of 3A Water Street. She said she came to Eastport before she could walk. She was born in 1941. She believes the house and its companion house (3B Water Street) were built in 1936 or 1937. It and its companion house (3B Water Street) were built by a Mr. Tooze who lived in a double house at 7 Water Street. 3A & 3B Water Street replaced an existing duplex house that was in disrepair.
