STEUBEN UNION CHURCH
This Greek Revival church was built in 1852-1853 after a fire destroyed the earlier ohurch in 1850. Greek Revival influence is evident in the distinct pediment, four columned front portico, and the wide cornice and pilasters outlining the building. The church bell was hung in June, 1864, and the town clock was installed in 1885. The Steuben Union Church stands on the Village Green near Townsley Square. AFN
