This two and a half story wood frame house likely dates to about 1900. It does not appear on the 1898 Sanborn Map of Eastport, but does appear on the 1903 Sanborn map of Eastport. It was originally built as a two unit or duplex house with separate entrances to each unit, on the east and west front sides of the house. Each entrance consists of an open porch with a sloping covered roof. The house has a gable roof with a two bay front facing Washington Street. The house has two chimneys, one at the north end of the house and one at the south end of the house.
