Rare photo that just came into our collections that shows the north front half of the Hinkley Block building (now The Commons) at Bank Square in downtown, Eastport, Maine. Photo dates to about 1890, shortly after the building was built in 1887. The building is part of a 30 building downtown Eastport National Register Historic District established in 1982.
