192Description
This one and a half story wood frame house has a double gable roof and a four bay front. The house like dates to about 1850. It appears on the 1855 Map of Eastport. The pitch gable roof facing Key Street may be a later addition. The original entrance on the east side of the house has been extended by an enclosed porch entryway. The original wood clapboard siding remains in place. A newer metal roof has replaced an earlier asphalt shingle roof. The later foundation is of pressed concrete block construction and likely dates to about 1930.
