This two and half wood framed house dates to about 1830. It has a gable roof and two later dormer windows have been added to the south side of the roof. A much later one story bay window has been added to the front east side of the house An enclosed side porch with main entrance has been added to the south side of the house. Newer double hung, single pane windows have replaced the original windows. The current wood clapboard siding is a recent version of the original. The building is currently used as a residence for the Tides Institute & Museum of Art’s StudioWorks Artist-in-Residence program.
