Helen Genevieve CHARTERS
CHARTERS- Helen Genevieve; 77 of Grand Manan Island passed away peacefully at the Grand Manan Hospital Friday October 5, 2007. Born of the late Mr. & Mrs. Julian and Doris (Milligan) Richardson in Toronto ON. In Helen’s early years she worked as a secretary in the Toronto area, later she received her Teaching Degree and taught school until her retirement. In her later years she was a well known person in the Art Community throughout New Brunswick. Creating her works of art and enjoying the company of her many friends were Helen’s passion and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Charters of North Head, NB; her two sons Benjamin (Debbie) Charters of North Head, NB, Andrew (Jess) Charters of Meggett, South Carolina, USA. Also her three grand children Derek, Julian, and Olivia. She was predeceased by her husband Dean, one son Matthew, and two brothers Paul and John.
