In a vintage, black-and-white photograph, two young women stand closely together in a field with a large, leafless tree in the background, both smiling subtly toward the camera; the women appear to be dressed in practical, modest attire, with their dresses gently swaying in the breeze, their footwear sturdy and sensible for the outdoor setting.
