"According to the old family stories, this organ was brought to Tontitown by the Ursuline Sisters about 1914 through 1923. It was used in the convent and for a short time it was the first organ for the first church of St. Joseph in Tontitown but was replaced by a more powerful organ. Once the Ursuline Sisters left Tontitown, they gave the organ to Aunt Angela Lazzari in Tontitown. It was in her possession until she was moved to a nursing home in Paris, Arkansas, near her brother, Fr. Robert Lazzari of Subiaco. At that time, my late brother Anthony Lazzari took the organ to his home in St. Louis, Missouri and kept it until his untimely death in 1995. The organ has been in my home since then 1995-2020."-- Margaret Dean LazzariCollection
