Ridout, Cashier; dated: Bank of Upper Canada, Toronto 23 Sept 1846; postmarks: 1. black broken double "TORONTO SP 23 1846 U.C.", red single "WESTON NY SEP 23 (30?)"; unbleached, laid paper; watermark: "CANSELL 1845"; black ink fading to brown; red wafer seal; re: letter of account re not #1127 in favour of Charlotte Eyre for £45; includes difficult to understand jargon and abbreviations.
