Letter to James Hodgert, Esquire, desk of the Building Com.ee., Guelph Gore District; from Thomas Young; dated Toronto Octr. 18th 1838; re: plans of Guelph Gaol as drawn up by Young, sent to contractor in Guelph, T.Y. will help all he can to complete and build gaol; unbleached, heavy, laid paper; watermark: medallion with "Britannia" surmounted by crown "LUMSDEN 1836"; black ink faded to brown; red wax seal, cross-hatched design; postmarks: black double "TORONTO OC18 U.C."; postage: "7".
