Pen with mother-of-pearl shaft flattened into feather-shape; carved with pussy willow and stripe design; brass or gold collar and nib; in wooden box; covered in maroon and black leather; hinged with purple silk interior; black elastic at centre to secure pen; two brass clips at ends of box.
