Land grant in print and manuscript; printed on cream vellum; black print; brown manuscript; signature and note in margin in dark brown manuscript; land granted to "Charity Smith of the Township of Thorold(?) in the County of Lincoln in the Niagara District"; reverse labelled in brown manuscript: "Grant.. Charity Smith... 17 May 1825 Book 132 folio 16(?)..."; pink (possibly originally red) twill tape knotted in two places and attached through three slits (originally four) at base of document; folded four times.
