One face proof of Bank of Upper Canada (Toronto) two dollar banknote; in colour of issue (green tint on white with black print); mounted on white card; at centre bottom: "American Bank Note Company"; serial # and date not filled in; unsigned; note in pencil on reverse; vignettes: bottom left: portrait of Queen Victoria as a young girl, centre: sailor reclining on shore with anchor, bottom right: seated Britannia with crest of Upper Canada; punch (x4) cancel at bottom; issue of 1859 and 1861.
