Description

Pen with ivory handle with finial design on end; gold collar with faint diagonal stripe pattern; gold nib marked "MABLE TODD & CO NEW YORK 3"; with case with separated (hinge broken) lid; black leather-covered wood with one brass hook and eye at centre; stamped "MABLE TODD & CO. MAKERS" in gold on lid; interior of base is lined in purple velvet; lid is lined in white silk; c. 1890-1900.
