Postal scale on footed oak base with bevelled edges; two brass trays - one circular, one rectangular with rounded corners marked "POSTAL SCALES" - each supported by two brass arms; one arm on right marked "WARRANTED ACCURATE"; three insets in base for weights with worn red velvet-type material in each; wights included are as follows, all brass: 8 oz (.2.1); 4 oz (.2.2); 2 oz (.2.3); 1 oz (.2.4); 1/2 (.2.5); 1/4 oz (.2.6); c. 1850-1860.
