Description

Lap desk; mahogany veneer; one plated handle on either side; full-length drawer from one side; interior writing surface is royal blue velvet; storage compartment under each half of writing surface; four compartments above writing surface; including places for a concave wooden pen trough, top painted blue; one glass inkwell with brass screw-on lid; one glass well with non-original perforated brass cap; c. 1820-1830.
