One Bank of Upper Canada penny, 1852, with punched hole between N and E in "ONE PENNY". Obverse: St. George on horseback to right, slaying the dragon, "BANK OF UPPER CANADA" around border. Reverse: battle axe over an arrow, anchor and sword in saltire, all intercrossed in a wreath of oak leaves and entwined by a rope from anchor above 2 cornucopia, surmounted by a crown accosted to right by a triangular shaped Union Jack. "BANK TOKEN ONE PENNY" around border, plain edge.Update Date
