Description

Ink bottle. Grey ceramic bottle with a brown glaze. Tapers at the shoulder into a thin neck with a spout for pouring on lip. Stamp impression near base of bottle "Lovatt & Lovatt/ Notts/ Langley Mill". The '…avtt' of the second 'Lovatt', the …'s' of 'Notts', and the '...ill' of 'Mill' are not firmly impressed and not entirely legible.
