Description

British officer's Sea Service smoothbore flintlock pistol; .63 caliber. Steel lock, barrel and ramrod; brass furniture: butt cap, trigger guard and ramrod holder; lock stamped "TOWER" and "GR" with Georgian crown; brass butt cap stamped "QR 3", which could mean "Quarter Deck 3"; on other side of the pistol, part of the stock above the trigger is engraved "SP" and possibly crown symbol.
