Description

Travelling Coin Scale. Oval metal case with black coating. Lid and base are connected by plate hinge. Small protruding knob on front of case for opening. Bottom of interior is lined in large weave green wool fabric, top of interior (lid) is lined in white silk and padded with coarse wool (?). Set includes steel balance, brass scale pans, attached with cotton twine, and three (3) metal weights. Weights are stored in paper-board compartment, with recessed storage slots, in front proper left corner.
