Brass candle snuffer with brass side plate box. Scissors-like in form, the base and sides of the snuff box are attached to the inner blade, while a flat cover for the side of the box is attached to the outer blade. Still in working order, the riveted blades swing to full extension, though loosely connected to the pivot area. Two (2) brass legs support the proper left finger ring and the tip of the inner blade, yet lacks one brass foot on the proper right ring, is currently supported by a brass-like screw. The handle shanks feature symmetrical patterned grooves.Dimensions
