Description

Iron handmade padlock with brass keyhole, iron key, no keyhole cover. Shackle swings away to proper right, but the toe of the shackle is locked. Originally red in colour, only some flakes of paint are still visible, especially near the toe of the shackle and on the proper left side of the body. The obverse of the body features six (6) rivets, while the reverse features ten (10). The sides of the body of the padlock bare three (3) rivets. Adhesive residue on the shackle and key from previous labelling.
