Description

Wood carving of Ontario Blockhouse. Oval in shape, the hand carving features a fence, a pine tree, a blcokhouse and a surrounding landscape, all in haut-relief. Different shades of wood are used to convey more depth. On the reverse is signed in pencil 'Richard C.... Hand Carved Bolton Ont.' A hole is found at the top of the reverse side to aid in mounting.
