Description

Nickel silver fork, missing part of ivory handle. Three (3) tines form the head of the fork. Attached to the neck of the fork by a darker nickel band is a portion of the original ivory handle. Where the handle has been cut or broken off, a wooden rod which is then inlaid with a nickel (?) rod, is in the center that would have kept the handle in place. The handle is marked by diagonal ridges as ornamentation.
