Imperial Service Medal of George VI. Sterling silver. On obverse side, has portrait of King George VI and word "Georgivs VI Dei Grai:Britt:Omn:Rex Fid:Def". On reverse side, has picture of man sitting and at the bottom says "For Faithful Service". Medal attached to red and blu ribbon. Included with medal is note that says "Walter Manwaring, For Faithful Service in Post Office Nov. 1908 to July 10, 1948". Medal contained inside leather-covered case. Cypher of "Royal Mint" stamped on underside of case.Update Date
