Town of Porter Historical Society Museum

Our museum is in the rural township of Porter on the south shore of Lake Ontario with the mighty Niagara River to the west. Our collection aims to tell the story of our community highlighting the village of Youngstown, population 1834 and the hamlet of Ransomville, population 1590. We have an extensive collection of town families' genealogy. Our newspaper clipping files cover almost every topic and resident, especially in the last 30 years.
