Description

Bronze plaque presumably commissioned by Faith Mills, Incorporated, which was located in the Town of Sand Lake and Hamlet of Averill Park, NY, and a major employer of Sand Lake residents from 1897 through its closing in the mid 1960s due to unionization and labor disputes. Specifically, the plaque commends the manufacturer's "CONSTANT QUALITY FOR 50 YEARS" beginning in 1897 and continuing through 1947 with William D. Mahoney serving as its President at the time.
