Mac McEvilly Donations

Miscellaneous glass bottles mostly donated by MacMcEvilly: Specifically, from back to front these items include:
- A nondescript quart screw top whiskey bottle (likely $0 value);
- A significantly naturally sun purpled Guaranteed Full Pint whiskey bottle which might bump the value of this otherwise common item to $25 or more (refer to the weblinks section for an explanation of sun purpling);
- A nondescript pint bottle (likely $0 to $5 value);
- A glass rolling pin with a bottle like open end (estimated $65 to $85 vale);
- A nondescript probable ink bottle (likely $0 to $3 value);
- A king's Ransom scotch whiskey bottle (likely $20 to $40 value additional photo follows), and;
- A nondescript round bottom wine or carbonated beverage bottle (likely $10 to $20 value). The rounded bottom ensured side storage to prevent its cork from drying out and failing.

Description

Miscellaneous antique bottles and metal kitchen items most of which were donated to SLHS by former SLHS President Mac McEvilly per the included note produced by SLHS member Bonnie Hellum. Unfortunately, the note fails to specify exactly which of the bottles described by this entry were donated by Mac. In addition, apparently no one followed up with him as suggested by the note to obtain additional information. Most of the items appear to have little connection to the history of Sand Lake and are pretty common. However, an Internet search indicates that several of the items could be sold for a significant amount as indicated below. All of the items in this entry have been carefully wrapped in newspaper and plastic, marked, and stored in a cardboard box located in SLHS File Cabinet 5 - Drawer 3.
