Description

Major George C. Quamo Memorial Plaque, Display and historical references. Quamo was a graduate and star football quarterback of Averill Park High School and Silver Star and Distinguished Service Cross winner for numerous acts of heroism under fire. He died during an aircraft craft crash in while completing a subsequent mission in Vietnam.
