Heading photo: See below for a photo of the binder. Per a SLHS Facebook post by William Miller, the above photo "is from our Miller homestead on Thais Rd. No names or dates but seem to recall hearing that our grandfather , Albert S Miller, played drums and was among this West Sand Lake Volunteer Drum Corp. Think he may be 2nd from right. Would estimate date approx. 1880- 1895." Nothing else is known.

Description

Sand Lake Historical Society owned and managed binder of various photos and memorabilia. Refer to Photo Binder 1 for photographs from approximately 1975 until 2000 rather than 1996. This binder plus the somewhat overlapping Photo Binder 3 and the "People and Places" binders cover approximately 2000 through about 20011 when SLHS began increasingly using its Internet and Facebook sites to store photos. This boxed binder also stores postcards and photos donated to SLHS by Ms. Gail Booth and the Town of Sand Lake Bicentennial Postal Covers.
