Twenty-two-page PDF of a cash book maintained by an unidentified business possibly from the Sand Lake area. However, few, if any, readily fully recognizable Sand Lake names from the late 19th through early 20th centuries appear on its pages. In addition, the cash book continues in a largely uninteresting repetitive format for 599 pages in less than 2 years indicating a volume of business that likely exceeded that offered by Sand Lake. The PDF only includes about 5% of the overall cash book given its length and repetitive nature. Regardless, it's an excellent example of cash accounting prior to the age of calculators and memory storage devices. The PDF is downloadable while fully logged into the system.
