Scope and Content

Sixty-three-page PDF of handwritten minutes of the annual and any special interim meetings of the trustees and administrators of School District Number One in the Town of Sand Lake, NY. The minutes were recorded by the Clerk of the School District from 1839 through 1929 in chronological order except for 1860 when the minutes were apparently mistakenly entered at the reverse end of the identically sided ledger. Thus, the 1860 minutes appear first followed by the rest of the chronologically correct minutes. Another handwritten entry notes that the ledger was donated to the Town in 1986 by Al Hayner. The PDF is downloadable while fully logged into the system. Refer to the example page for a preview of its content.
