Collection of various Anti-Rent-War related research papers and projects that are likely unavailable or easily missed otherwise or may eventually become unavailable online. Specifically, this entry includes:
- A 1966 Sienna College 104-page masters or doctoral dissertation entitled, "The Anti-Rent War in Rensselaer County, NY, 1839 to 1850, by John J. Thero, who was once the Principal at the Algonquin Middle School. Hard copy available from the SLHS library shelves located in the Sand Lake Public Library.
- A 26 page 2002 College of William & Mary Law School, faculty publication, "The End of the Hudson Valley's Peculiar Institution: The Anti-Rent Movement's Politics,
Social Relations, & Economics," by Eric Kades, which was available online per the weblinks section of this entry as of February of 2022.
- Chapter 10, which is entitled, "The Other Civil War," and consists of 24 pages of a larger online publication entitled, "History is a Weapon, A People's History of the United States," by Howard Zinn, which was available online per the weblinks section of this entry as of February of 2022, and;
- A 2014 Vimeo video produced by Inner Works Productions of Ashville, NC, entitled, "Echoes of the Anti-Rent Rebellion." The short video provides character reenactments of a high-level overview of the Anti-Rent War and was apparently used to encourage discussion during educational presentations, which was available online per the web links section of this entry as of February of 2022.Cataloged By
