Description

Photographs, badges and uniform items related to the former Town of Sand Lake (TOSL) Police Department. The TOSL disbanded its Police Department in favor of hosting a NYS Police sub-station at Town Hall, which is far less expensive than running its own Department. The photos and badges are stored in a binder marked, "Town of Sand Lake Police Department Photos and Badges," on the spine located in the Town Historian's Office of Town Hall. Refer to the 1st and 2nd floor Town Hall Photos and Plaques folder of this site for group and squad car photos of the former TOSL Police Department.
