Scope and Content

Recollections of Rich Castle, Clara Leavenworth Ratz, and Alfred Horton of air raid defense preparations, drills and measures taken during World War II to protect the TOSL from potential air attack by enemy bombers. Fortunately, there were no attacks. However, the threat was obviously taken very seriously. This two-page PDF can be downloaded while fully logged into the system. Hardcopy of the PDF can be found in the, “General Articles Binder #2,” which is located in Drawer 3 of SLHS File Cabinet 1 on the second floor of Town Hall.
