Twelve-page PDF of submissions received in response to a 1998 Historical Highlights call for short essays regarding, "family memories." The partial or net results likely served as the basis for a Historical Highlights article or Town Historian Advertiser column. Specifically, submissions received include:
- My son the immigrant Timar Gordon Scott Christianson story of adoption;
- Henkel family memories by Helen Radz Ruether;
- Radz family memories;
- Bloody Alps by Doris Shaver as told to Linda Ormsby, which described the brawls, murders, and thievery that occurred in and around five saloons located in the Alps;
- Julius Rymiller family memories;
- District Number 11 One-Room Schoolhouse memories by Elsie Dobert Cann;
- District Number 9 One-Room Schoolhouse memories by Iona Mosher, and;
- Jennilee Young Finn immigrant arrival story from Korea.
