Miscellaneous photos which include little or no notation of their original ownership and origin and may or may not include or relate to past residents of the Town of Sand Lake. Basically, the photos were either donated to the Town of Sand Lake Historian's Office without any reference to their origin or a verbally provided reference to their origin at the time of their donation was never documented and has been long since forgotten. Please contact the Town Historian's Office if you recognize the origin or subjects of any of these photos. Any potentially useful notations found on the photos are included in the description of each entry along with a description of any reasoning for grouping photos together due to apparent family and/or source connections. The photos include numerous examples of elegantly produced and mounted Cabinet Card and Carte de Visite style photos taken by a wide variety of professional photographers located throughout the upper Hudson and Eastern Mohawk Valleys.
